Parting the Red Sea

Many people still take the grand stories of the bible to literaly. Even more so, the majority of people who are willing to accept a symbolic interpretation subscribe to the g- rated version. Recently, someone raised an intresting possiblity to me concerning the parting of the Red Sea.
There are two words in the phrase that conjure a sexual image. Don't laugh.
As a man ages and begins to accept his mortality he yearns to conquer it. He becomes willing to accept death but he refuses to conceed to it. Nature has given us a way to pass on our life force, just not our conciousness. So, as we flee Egypt (youth) and face the Red Sea (death) we are forced to "part" it by parting a sweet women's legs, entring her "Red Sea" and sending forth our peoples (sperm cells) to be fruitfull and multiply in the land of milk and honey.
